April – The Time to Experience Fairy Thimbles

Ancient woodland treasures Bees, butterflies and other insects feed on the nectar of the ancient Bluebell. These wonderful ¬†purple flowers provide an excellent source of nectar. Bees can ‘steal’ the nectar from the Bluebell flowers, by biting a hole in the bottom of the bell and reaching the nectar without actually pollinating the flower. Folklore…
